We only brought VA Manolete’s Hijo Amado to the Las Vegas Andalusian World Cup but what and impression we made !!

Amado was not only the Champion Western Pleasure – Open but also the Supreme Champion Western Pleasure – Open, being chosen over a magnificent Stallion Krypton Senio II who had won the previous 3 titles. What an accomplishment for both Amado and his trainer Renee Phillips of Phillips Performance Horses. We had a blast with old friends and new. Can’t wait to go again in 2020.

This was Amado’s first day of showing and he was a bit overwhelmed with all the travel and all the horses so he wasn’t at his best placing 4th. But by the time Western Pleasure rolled around – he was settled in to win……BIG TIME !!

Amado placed 3rd even with his wardrobe malfunction – one of the 3 Judges still placed him 1st.
